The mission of The Academies by Harvard Student Agencies is to provide opportunities for high school students that transcend the traditional classroom topics. Regardless of background, we hope to be the connection between students and Harvard quality exploratory courses. Through collaborative work with peers across the globe and access to trained Harvard undergraduate instructors, we are dedicated to helping all students feel confident in navigating their futures.
The Summer Business Academy was launched as an initiative under HSA Tutoring in 2014. Over the next four years, The Academies expanded rapidly, adding on programs in new subject areas and levels, along with its worldwide traveling weekend academies. In 2018, The Academies by Harvard Student Agencies established itself as an independent HSA agency.
In light of the pandemic, The Academies were forced to reorient and opted towards online programming, now known as The Academies @HOME. Despite the shift to a virtual platform, we continue to provide exceptional programming to high school students every single weekend.
WE AIM TO CULTIVATE A PASSION FOR INNOVATION IN OUR FUTURE LEADERS BY EQUIPPING THEM WITH THE TOOLS TO INSPIRE CHANGE.
